Ingredients

Hyaluronic Acid4,5,6,7,8

Main component of synovial fluid in the joints, with viscoelastic and lubricating properties. Its oral intake helps facilitate joint movement due to its viscosity; protect cartilage from wear; reduce inflammation; and promote cartilage nutrition.

Hyaluronic Acid provides viscoelasticity to synovial fluid and is responsible for lubricating the synovial membrane and articular cartilage. Oral intake has been shown to be effective in osteoarthritis in dogs.

Hydrolyzed Enzymatically Collagen

Major component and structural basis of hyaline cartilage in the joints, the main tissue affected in joint degeneration processes. Hydrolyzed collagen is known to maintain cartilage integrity and provides flexibility, elasticity, and support. Its administration allows for greater absorption, distribution, and accumulation in articular cartilage.

Glucosamine

Amino sugar component of articular cartilage, substrate, and stimulator of the synthesis of chondroitin and hyaluronic acid. It protects hyaline cartilage from wear and promotes cartilage nutrition.

Chondroitin Sulfate

Main glycosaminoglycan of the extracellular matrix of cartilage. Nutrient that contributes to the formation of different components of cartilage, helps decrease cartilage destruction, and reduces inflammation by decreasing the action of proinflammatory molecules.

Gamma Oryzanol9,10,11

Sustancia de origen natural que muestra una potente acción antioxidante, ayuda a la eliminación de los radicales libres y a reducir la inflamación.

The combination of chondroitin sulfate, glucosamine, and antioxidants in the diet improves the condition of the joints and is effective for treating dogs with osteoarthritis.

Glucosamine and chondroitin have been shown to improve joint function and may be responsible for improving pain on manipulation, lameness, and range of motion.

  • Dogs weighing 40 kg or more: 2 tablets per day in a single dose.

What is canine hip dysplasia?

Canine hip dysplasia is an orthopedic condition in which the affected joint, usually the hips and elbows, do not develop correctly. This can lead to joint cartilage degeneration, pain, inflammation, and difficulty in movement. It is more common in large breeds (larger in size) and may be hereditary.

Diagnosis is made through radiographs and treatment may include dietary changes, medications, and surgery. Early detection of hip or elbow dysplasia and veterinary care are essential to improve the dog's quality of life, maintaining its physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
